The Black Brook School, in present day Hermanville, was located on the now nearly non-existant Queens Road, which ran parallel to present day Route 16, north of Route 16. Parts of this road still exist between Cow River beach and Naufrage harbour, for one example.
Meacham 1880 indicates that Black Brook was a former school area, two kilometers north west of Hermanville.
